Life isn't really FULL without the community of faith gathering for celebration, jubilation, and adoration!

Worship at LCA expresses itself in both traditional and more contemporary styles. A variety of people share their musical gifts in leading worship. Worship doesn't just happen on Sunday. Special services occur at Thanksgiving, Christmas, Holy Week and Easter. In addition, Wednesday evening services are held during December and mid-February through mid-April.

All worship services at LCA are printed entirely in a worship folder. So, no fumbling through a hymnal to find and keep your place! Our typical Worship Schedule looks like this:

First Sunday of the Month
Divine Service II: A formal, traditional worship including spoken and sung responses, participation by the Chancel Choir, a Lamb's Lesson for the children, a message by the Pastor and Holy Communion.

Second Sunday of the Month
Contemporary Worship: Worship led by a worship team of piano, drums, lead and bass guitar. The service uses no formal Liturgy and the songs are from the newer Contemporary Christian music genre. This service also includes participation by the Chancel Choir, a Lamb's Lesson for the children, a message by the Pastor and Holy Communion.

Third Sunday of the Month
Now the Feast and Celebration: A somewhat formal worship, but with more contemorary musical styles and lyrics. This service also features the Chancel Choir, a Lamb's lesson for the children, a message by the Pastor and Holy Communion.

Fourth Sunday of the Month
Contemporary Worship: Worship led by a worship team of piano, drums, lead and bass guitar. The service uses no formal Liturgy and the songs are from the newer Contemporary Christian music genre. This service also includes participation by the Chancel Choir, a Lamb's Lesson for the children, a message by the Pastor and Holy Communion.

Fifth Sunday of the Month
Blended Worship: Worship featuring a variety of classical and contemporary instruments and music. This service, like all other Sunday services at LCA includes participation by the Chancel Choir, a Lamb's Lesson for the children, a message by the Pastor and Holy Communion.
