The Lutheran Church of Arcata
is present in the community to
continue Jesus' own ministry:

- John 10:10

Welcome and thanks for visiting the website of the Lutheran Church of Arcata. We believe that you are important to God and that He desires for you to experience the fullness of life that only He can bring!

We believe Jesus is not just a historical figure, but someone who is alive and present - someone you can know, love, and experience.

His message of love and salvation is the greatest news! It is through this gift that we believe a person can experience a true fullness of life-with purpose and joy! We invite you to gather with us in celebrating this amazing love of Jesus.

Come, and enjoy Life to the Full!

A Message from Pastor Rick:

Welcome! It is a blessing and a joy to serve alongside the people of God in this community!

Jesus said, "I am the Resurrection and the Life, whoever believes in me will live!" John 11:25

We are called to be an Easter people! As we daily celebrate the good news of God's love and grace, we give thanks for the new life that we have in Jesus. Not only do we look forward to when we will spend eternity with Him in his presence, we celebrate that we live under the umbrella of Jesus' grace and mercy every single day!

In Jesus, we have a peace that can be found nowhere else, a hope that the world cannot provide. It is in Jesus that we can live with a joy that goes beyond our present circumstances so that we can lift our eyes to the joy that is to come!

We would love to invite you to worship with us as we celebrate all that God is doing in our lives together! If you are new to the Arcata area or are without a church home, it would be a blessing to worship with you. Please check the website calendar for special events and worship times.

It is my prayer that God fills your heart with His peace, hope and joy!

In Christ,
Pastor Rick
